Plans for two new metro lines have been announced by Copenhagen city council, reports the Copenhagen Post. The 48 billion kroner metro extensions would cross the city ring line, which has just started construction and is due to be completed in 2018. The new lines would link Sydhavn and Nordhavn with the city centre and Nørrebro and Amager. According to the Post, the Nordhavn extension is the city’s priority after the city ring line.
