Copenhagen air quality improves

The quality of air in Copenhagen has improved dramatically in the last decade, reports the Copenhagen Post. According to figures from the National Environmental Research Institute, ultrafine particle (UFP) pollution (particles less than 100 nanometres) has decreased by 50 per cent between 2002 and 2010. The improvement is down to cleaner vehicles, and excluding the most polluting vehicles from the city’s roads, says the Environmental Protection Agency, according to the Post.
